Training Content
The Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) approach is a scientifically validated complementary clinical intervention for addressing symptoms related to complex trauma or chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder resistant to conventional care. Developed at the Center for Trauma & Embodiment @JRI in Massachusetts, USA, this therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma theory, attachment theory, neuroscience, and the practice of Hatha Yoga. TCTSY aims to bring the body into therapy to heal the impacts of traumatic events, allowing participants to safely reconnect with their bodies through a specific protocol.
During this workshop, you will receive an introduction to this innovative approach, combining theory and practice. We will also explore other restorative yoga practices that can be offered to traumatized individuals in addition to or independently of verbal psychotherapy: yin yoga, yoga nidra, breathwork, relaxation exercises, guided meditations, and visualizations.
No prior yoga experience is necessary to participate in the workshop

My name is Eva Martin, and I am a holistic wellness coach from France. With over two decades of experience in cultural diplomacy, primarily in Africa and Asia, I've observed during my travels that trauma is a nearly ubiquitous experience. Paradoxically, there is a lack of appropriate solutions or alternatives to conventional treatments for helping individuals and their families in such situations. This reality prompted me to develop a personal coaching method to enhance all aspects of life: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational well-being. My aim is to help individuals establish a harmonious balance between the body, mind, and soul, considering overall health and contributing to the creation of a more trauma-informed society.
During my stay in India from 2019 to 2023, I trained in yoga and Ayurveda, specializing in trauma-informed yoga to support individuals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). In 2023, I founded Ikshana Holistic Wellness in France, dedicated to providing holistic alternative solutions and unique wellness retreat experiences over the world for those who have faced challenging and life-altering situations.
